All out war? or smart precise covert operations?.

The chicken hawk pukes favor all out war against a small group, While President Obama prefers unseen covert operations such as the one that killed Bin laden, and the ones taking out Iran's nuclear scientist. All out full military war is not the answer anywhere in the middle east.
The choice is clear for anyone who has been in the military. That is why the Pukes don't understand, they never walked the walk.
Romney fled the country to avoid service in Vietnam, to me he can never be called a strong anything. Sorry Mitt but you had a chance to show us you were a strong leader and failed and it will forever follow you around.
When you speak to our military or veterans this is what they are thinking about you.

Covert war leads to blowback. It isn't so smart in the long run. All-out war is insane leveymg Oct 2012 #5

hellooooo? smart, covert war is already going on.

the powers that be are well aware millions of Iranians want to get out from under the
religious fanatics running their nation. applying pressure.. i.e. sanctions being one,
could cause the whole mess to fail.

LOL..... was Stuxnet "observable"??

that is what is meant by covert war... it's not fighter jets and tanks rumbling along...

in addition, covert war was exactly what was waged against the old Soviet Union's military when they made
the mistake of invading Afghanistan.

our agencies armed the Mujahadeen with shoulder-launched Stinger missiles-- which penetrated Soviet
armored vehicles/helicopters.. the war ended not long after that.

if all of that was overt, then why did we citizens not find out about it until at least TEN years after the fact??

it's all in the book Harry Wilson's War.

and self-destructive or suicidal in an interdependent global economy.

The prospect of wars almost always present alternatives, but covert regime change is just another kind of war that has costs to pay: 9/11, dead Ambassadors, downed airliners, etc.

Iran is being driven to develop nuclear armament for self-defense because of our threatening stance against them in the first place. Maybe if we had not toppled their government in 1953, there would not be a problem on either side now.
