All the worrying, handwringing and nervousness is irrational foolishness. Cut it out and buck up.

Some post-debate cumulative (several days) polls will always show some bounce for the challenger. Slews of other polls, especially current one-day snapshot trackers, are showing Obama AHEAD. And there are 3 more debates and a lllllllllllong way to go. The fundamentals are still all with Obama. If you obsess on a few polls at one juncture, you are being irrational and silly. Please, see the big picture, and end the irrational worrying. Put the energy into calling, donating, and cavassing.

past weekend, and the campaign office workers were asking for more volunteers. Weeks ago, they had too many volunteers. Now we need more.

We Democrats need to wake up and get to work. If we don't turn out, we lose!

but they'd better buck up and get rid of those silly emotional responses?

This reminds me of something I never understood about parents coaching pee wee football and little league baseball. The demeaning name calling and ridiculing of emotion always seemed like the use of embarassment as a bludgeon to get conforming behavior, as opposed to the use of encouragement to get conforming behavior/desired outcomes.

It seems like you are knowledeable about this form of motivation and character building.

Perhaps you could explain the subtle differences between the use of shaming via name calling as encouragement vs bullying?
