Mitt Romney's Driving Killed Leola Anderson. His Cover-Up Tale is Proved Dishonest

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2012/07/17/1110907/-Mitt-Romney-s-Driving-Killed-Leola-Anderson-His-Cover-Up-Tale-is-Proved-Dishonest

The story begins in 1968 with Romney causing a head-on collision at Beaulac, France. Mrs. Anderson was killed and several others were injured. There followed a Romney cover-up conspiracy that unfolded with three distinct phases. Mitt Romney was protected, first, and then depicted as a blameless victim in an accident that he blamed on a Catholic priest.

Big time professional media have been spoofed. The authorized biography by Michael Kranish and Scott Helman titled "The Real Romney" is polluted with intentional dysinformation. Serialization of this book in the Boston Globe became a propaganda tool, freeing up Mr. Romney to run for President of the United States.

Now we have evidence in hand of Internet burglary and phony web pages. These acts defend what remains an on-going cover-up conspiracy. Romney's supporters resemble Richard Nixon's CREEP and the Watergate burglars

So it's the job of Team Obama to bring it to light, or if not Team Obama directly, than those out there who want to expose the truth about Romney's background.

Romney also needs to be asked (preferably during a debate):

1. Why he had his computer records as Governor destroyed

2. Why his files from the Salt Lake City Olympics are missing

it took me back, because I of course can't stand Romney. But, Obama team cannot be bringing these things up. People would think they are getting desperate and would backfire. That said, it doesn't hurt to circulate these talking points. The 2 things that I think raise red flags is why would the files of the Olympics and the hard drives when he left his Governorship get destroyed. That will not set right with many people, especially since he has a reputation of being leary of trusting this man.

This is just dumb. Enough of the nonsense.

You know, Michael Bloomberg had what was shaping up as a tough election for his first election as Mayor of New York. He was in a tough battle against Mark Green. In the last week of the campaign, with Bloomberg maybe leading just a tick (this was the year of 9/11, remember, and there was even talk of just giving Giuliani another term), Green ran a profoundly stupid ad essentially accusing Bloomberg of sexual indiscretions. It was viewed by New Yorkers (even me, and I supported Green!) as desperate and inappropriate and just plain stupid. Green lost by a hair, 50-48%, and the rest is the history of Bloomberg's domination over New York City.

Lesson: Shit like this looks desperate and inappropriate and stupid.

Kind of, you know, the man seems to lie about so many things. How many lies in the last debate?

Something like this comes up and you have to wonder? Did he tell the truth or did he buy his own protection in a situation that could have landed him in prison for life?

There isn't enough time to really "prove" this to his die hards, but maybe putting credible doubt into their minds on many small things will be enough. Show the pattern of dishonesty and honestly be stumped as to any way he WOULDN'T have lied in that situation if the means had been available for him to do so.

Surrogates should ask why he destroyed his records as governor of Mass and of the SLC Olympics.

Those records belonged to we the people. What was he hiding?

It was the 1st debate and a single poll, front-end loaded so that it didn't capture the downside of the Romney debate bump and the upside of jobs and deficit numbers.

Obama now has a fire lit under his tail, and plenty of new ammunition, which is a good thing.

IMO it looks pretty bleak right now, and I wonder if we may be playing for 2014/2016 at this point. BO took a MASSIVE header in the first debate, which is the one low info. voters really pay attention to, and it will be hard to get them back. Rmoney has been an absolute gaffe machine up until very recently, so maybe we'll score a few unearned runs and get back into the game. Let's hope so anyway...

Bringing out something like this, this late in the game, reeks of desperation and will make us look weak. Mitt has given us abundant means with which to defeat him in the course of this campaign. So long as Barack gets a cup of strong coffee before the next debate, we should be fine.

Willard dodged the draft. He dodged responsibility. He dodges his taxes. He dodges revealing anything at all about what he would actually do if elected. He is certainly a dodgy dick (R).

Are they still there? An American biography is worthless compared to the original French records: hospital records, treating doctor records, coroner's records, police report, insurance records. Did a team of operatives raid the archives and steal them, the way daddy Bush's teams "disappeared" the National Guard records of the Shrub? If that's the case, then this is a completely fresh issue of today regarding dirty, underhanded tactics of the current Republican candidate and it might even provoke an international incident regarding behavior towards foreign records.

By the way, I own a 1969 DS 21. It's true that the car wasn't designed for six passengers, and in front, three adults sitting in a row would hinder the driver. Also, it's an unusual car for someone not familiar with it. If Romney was driving the Citromatic model, you have to shift gears on the steering column but there's no clutch. The car has extremely strong and sensitive brakes (enormous brake discs) and if you hit the brake pedal thinking it's the clutch, it can cause a problem.
