Where the candidates are today, Tuesday 10/9/12

The President will be wooing students in Columbus and looks like Romney is beginning a push in Ohio as well:


No sign of the VP candidates today. They must be deep in debate prep. Of note are the several appearances of Chris Christie with Mitt Romney. It will be interesting to note if he refers more to himself or to the candidate when he's on the stump.'s last appearance of the day, at which Chris Christie will share the stage. (Or not share the stage or discuss the Republican nominee, if his convention speech was any indication.)

The Ohio schedule and appearances for Romney with Christie were being switched around and juggled throughout yesterday evening and afternoon; originally, Christie was supposed to join him only for an appearance in Cuyahoga Falls, then that became two earlier appearances, with no mention of Christie being at the Cuyahoga Falls stop at all. So ... this might not be the final manifestation of Romney's schedule.
