Romney is making a HUGE mistake by continuing to bring up Big Bird

he may be getting cheers at his rallies for talking about it, but
he keeps forgetting that he is being recorded and shown live
on t.v. The american people LOVE Big Bird... AND THEY VOTE!

he claimed that the Obama team is fixated on saving Big Bird.
Very short sighted as every time he brings that up he is pointing
out that Romney is trying to kill PBS, Sesame Street and Big Bird.

It's like someone who keeps talking about how someone is accusing him of stealing
unaware that he keeps the story out there that the guy is a thief.

he is a moron.

And not just American birds. All birds. Italian birds. Chinese birds. All birds. I don't know why Obama's people are so fixated on birds. Haven't they ever seen a canary? Who here loves canaries?"

I'll bet it's something like that. Lingua Moronica.

Big Bird, I think both campaigns need to DROP IT.

The people will keep it going without them trying to exploit it.

pbs had to ask Obama (or any other candidate using clips from PUBLIC TELEVISION, created using TAX PAYER MONEY) to stop using footage. think about it.

pbs asking the President to stop using footage DOES NOT mean they disagree
with what the President is saying about Romney wanting to kill Big Bird.
I am sure they VERY MUCH AGREE with President Obama.

PBS did not ask.

Sesame Workshop did.

Difference between producer and distributor/broadcaster.

Either way it's fine.

I don't mean Obama's team, but did the objectors
(Sesame Workshop) consult their own characters?

to continue running the ads.

note that sesame workshop isn't suing or seeking an injunction or anything like that, they're merely making a request.
