I'm sure Huerta heard those words drum loudly in her ears. I believe they were said and that it hurt, but they were not chanted by the greater group of Bernie supporters... not that I heard. Racism sucks. One or two bad apples can honestly paint a whole room full of folks.

I don't doubt her experience, though.

There was no "English only" chant.

but racism rings very loud. It's so evil that it just takes a pinch. I believe Dolores. I've seen these types of issues/conversations again and again, enough to know that Dolores is telling the truth. It's not in the video, but I still believe her.

And not one other person heard what she originally claimed.

I've actually been on the Sander's supporters side with this, but that's seemingly impossible.

I am saying, that I have no doubt she heard someone shout "English only" and that defined the experience for her. I believe her. Her experience is real and it matters. That's it.

She says in her new version that it was just "no, no, no" and that it was the moderator who said they would not have a translator and would do it in English only. She knew there wasn't a chant and I can't accept she misheard anything, hearing her new version.

But let me check Snopes tomorrow. I'm not seeing that she retracted her statement. That's important to me.

But I like the truth. I'm funny that way.

I find this fascinating that you can't bring yourself to believe that, at best, this woman was mistaken.

I have yet to see one - not one - of the people spreading this smear cop to being wrong. Not even with video proof. Damn sad when you're reduced to hoping to find one honest person in that camp, and come up empty-handed!

They need to smear Bernie supporters to smear Bernie himself. Because Sanders is a gentleman they will force him to apologize for something that never happened before they apologize for creating this uproar.

If I give them the benefit of the doubt - perhaps they didn't hear it correctly but now they must know the truth. So when does their apology appear? It won't. Because they need to do something to sway the Latino vote away from Bernie.

Right after she gives us those speech transcripts.

She wants them to vote Republican. They can't let the next generation go fully left, and what better way to drive people to the Republican party than by falsely claiming that they are racist and sexist monsters at every opportunity.
