It is kinda sad, for both parties

Only three states have voted so far. And not large states. Yet, the pundits already envision the final event between two candidates.

It is possible that in November it will be Trump (shuddering) vs. Clinton. But.. don't we have several more primaries and caucuses?

2. The ONLY way Trump can be stopped is for it to winnow down to a 2 man race before March 1.

I don't see that happening.

For Sanders to match Obama's 2008 race against Hillary he must win SC big, then win big in 3 of 11 races on MArch 1 and win another 3.

I don't see that happening.

From Bernie: The final results are in from Nevada and it looks like we’re going to leave another state with roughly the same number of delegates as Hillary Clinton, maybe down just a few.

I want to be completely clear with you about what this result means: Nevada was supposed to be a state "tailor made" for the Clinton campaign, and a place she once led by almost 40 points. But today, we sent a message that will stun the political and financial establishment of this country: our campaign can win anywhere.

There are 26 primaries and caucuses in the next month, and three straight positive results for our campaign are sure to prompt an over-the-top response from the millionaires and billionaires who are funding our opponent and her many super PACs.

We have to be prepared for their best shot, because it’s coming:

4. Pundits have been saying since at the least fall of 2012 that Hillary is inevitable.

They are not reporting or even predicting. They are attempting to create a self-fulfilling prophesy.

5. The narrative is that only whites support Bernie

And that he will lose any contest with large minority populations.

I'm not sure I agree with that, but only time will tell.

Whatever the outcome, I will support the Democratic nominee. Enthusiastically or otherwise, but I will support the Democratic nominee.

Which I hope will be my chosen candidate.

6. 2 or 3 states in and the race is about over. It's the sheep following the lead sheep.

3 states that are not representative of the country should not be picking our presidents. The caucuses are also very screwy. Iowa and South Carolina should not be in the beginning of this process.
