Using humor and clever marketing could make people more enthusiastic about voting however, if Big Bird can get more people to the polls that is a good thing.

we already knew that republicans wanted to remove public funding for EVERYTHING
including libraries, public education, national public radio, and the public broadcasting channel.

they are NOT going to win this one. i for one will PROUDLY stand up for Big Bird
as a representative of public funds being used to help enrich our society and
give free access to information that they otherwise would have to pay for.
some folks can't afford memberships such as cable television, etc.
