2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumI would assume a seriously flawed candidate like Hillary
would be wary of using shady campaigning tactics, especially considering she'll need essentially all of those affected by said shady campaigning in November.
Think about it Clinton supporters, just how many independents will you guys be able to convert in November? My guess is not very many. Even if it's against Trump, is it possible to say they might be so dissatisfied with the choices they'll just stay home? On the other hand Hillary will motivate a very strong GOP turnout no matter which clown they decide to put up. This is where the argument "But they'll make sure to vote against the socialist", yes, you're correct, with one caveat THEY THINK EVERY DEMOCRAT IS SOCIALIST ANYWAYS!
They don't see shades of blue like most of us here, to them Joe Manchin is on par with Bernie Sanders. The thing, fair or not, that makes them have a ragegasm most is the Clinton name and that can't be changed, denied, or swiped under a rug somewhere. So please remember us unicorn-loving-living-in-the-basement-fringe-kooks come November, because I'm sure she'll need US, not vice versa.
