The Caucus Cycle

1) Presidential election season begins

2) A Caucus is held where a candidate needs to win to continue or establish momentum.

3) A hue and cry arises about how unfair, undemocratic, and a fiasco caucuses are, typically by the losing side.

4) A demand that the caucus system be reformed arises.

5) About four years pass.

6) Goto 1)

and I'm really sorry that Alaska has one. I'll participate, of course, like I did in 2008, but my opinion stands.
