Hillary Clinton supports our fight for $15 and a union, read the SEIU fliers, which were distributed in English and Spanish. The literature also featured quotes from Clinton supporting New Yorks proposal to raise wages for fast-food workers to $15 an hour.

The fliers were sent out as a tool to provide members information about where Clinton stands on SEIUs agenda, according to an email obtained by POLITICO.
SEIUs Nevada state director, Brian Shepherd, told POLITICO the fliers were not misleading about Clintons position.
Hillary Clinton was the first candidate who came and met with workers and said she supported our movement, Shepherd said. The fight for $15 is about creating a movement of people to talk about the inequality in America. Thats been the focus of the fight for $15.
Shepherd said the union has been stumping for Clinton in working-class neighborhoods and has knocked on 36,000 doors and distributed 10,000 pledge cards on her behalf.

(6,409 posts)She supports 12/15 of it, which is something like 80 percent. That's pretty good for her. She usually avoids coming out that strong for an issue. Be grateful for the 80 percent. I wish she would say she is 80 percent for abolishing capital punishment.
