The audacity of nope and the attempted assassination of independent thought.

Media host? Check. Well recognized? Check. Supports hillary? No? Uh oh! Alert! Alert! Another one to go under the bus!

So, I've taken to noticing that some people who used to rec and speak highly of independent and liberal media outlets/pundits, have done this miraculous 180, and now talk about them as though they'd grown red-skin, horns and started reeking of sulfur. Not all of them are Hilary supporters, to be fair, but many are.

The commentators start "lacking media presence", or were secretly liars all along, or whatever other pretentious bullshit is handy to fling their direction at the time.

Dismantling the criticisms often feels like a waste of time, and yet is still so necessary... because they're not there to engage in conversation... they're there to demonize, marginalize and punish. You dare not bask in the warm-radiant-glow of my anointed one? You must be a heathen! Therefore I will cast aspersions upon you!!!!!!11!1!1111&$.

These attacks are so obviously disingenuous, that even confronting them feels more like a visit to the rest-room when you're in the middle of something important... you'd really rather not, but the consequences could be... messy. So, with a huge roll of the eyes and an accompanying "Ugh... here we go again", it has to be done.

I want to thank all of you who go out of your way to defend the few good media sources available to those of us with a progressive mindset. That includes those who are Hillary supporters, and who denounce baseless attacks such as these.
