G-D himself could come down and endorse Bernie Sanders, but if he lied while doing it, he'd need to be called out.

There's a lot of things a losing primary candidate's supporters might forgive later on in a GE, but being smeared in this manner isn't among them. Many Bernie supporters (and some others) who would ordinarily hold their nose and vote for Hillary in a general election might simply sit this one out, even if Bernie himself requests otherwise.

And calling out Hillary's penchant for putting-up well liked surrogates to lie for her
is NOT an honorable way to conduct her campaign.
