(3,795 posts)Not when it has been so thoroughly captured by Industry and elite financial interests (with a very few exceptions & one of them is actually running for President so we should probably vote for him).

(10,622 posts)Her history, policies and actions to date prove her to be at best a moderate Republican (if such stil existed) and a relentlessly war hungry neocon, She is not running for the most liked among the elite here, she is running to set financial and military policy for the United States of America.
An office she can simply not win in a General election with the highest negative numbers of any Democrat ever to run and in a country where a very large majority feel she simply can not be trusted, that's right, a large percentage of voters think her a liar of the highest magnitude.
I'll take the #1 most progressive in the Senate for the little any rating among a 90% corrupt body may mean, mostly because his policies are sound, he is not out to shed blood if any peaceful means can be found not to, and because he is both honest in his consistency and consistently honest and as such he can actually win in a General Election
