you mean Republicans and a small fringe group of Bernie supporters here on DU, then yeah I agree, he deserves very little respect from people like you, because I know I definitely have no respect for people like you. And I know the vast majority of Bernie supporters, and Bernie himself, has a tremendous amount of respect for Obama, and what he has accomplished....even though many may disagree on TPP.

I've been a huge admirer of Dr. West for many years. He is one of our precious few public intellectuals of any hue. And dog knows we desperately need them, but I've never been able to get over his attacks on president Obama. I just can't.

Intellectual consistency isn't a hobgoblin for you, but it is for me.
