Related: About this forumNBC/Marist SENATE - VA: (Kaine 47, Allen 46) | FL: (Nelson 52, Mack 39 | (OH: Brown 52, Mandel 41)
In all the excitement of the Presidential numbers tonight, let's not forget the Senate races in these 3 states.
Looks like the Democrats lead in all 3 - Nelson & Brown are solid, although this is a much closer number for Kaine than other polls have shown. Perhaps he was affected by the decline in Obama's VA numbers?

(34,857 posts)1. This is good news...
One factor that may have pulled the party ID more heavily toward Democrats in this poll was early voting. One-in-five respondents (18 percent) said they have already voted, and, of those, almost two-thirds (63 percent) said they voted for Obama.

if Obama ended up winning the election largely due to early voting in Ohio, when the Ohio GOP tried so hard to prevent it, thereby firing up people to do it. It would be almost too delicious.

(19,348 posts)2. The VA numbers are closer than the other polls.
Also, Kaine has been polling better than Obama this year.
