Did Ryan just change positions on Afghanistan mid sentence?

I know their positions shift, but can anyone follow his argument here?

"We don't want to lose our gains. . . we agree with the 2014 transition." WTF?

It does seem he Ryan flip-flopped mid-sentence. We will see.

Foreign policy being the worst. He criticized the Arab Spring and in the same breath Obama for not speaking out in support of Iran's Green Revolution.

He was pandering to the far right and those blonde GOP women in the thousand dollar blouses who don't want to ruin their figures with pesky unplanned pregnancies aren't going to like that shit one bit.
