2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumAnother problem now for Bernie is that the GOP has pretty much given up on operation chaos.
I listen to RW loon radio on my long commute in the mornings and afternoons. A couple of weeks ago many were all excited about Bernie making Hillary sweat and possibly winning the Dem nomination. Now I dont hear any of that. They have pretty much given up and conceded that Hillary will be the nominee.
I think that means no more GOP donations or superpac ads or Republicans "fake" voting for Bernie. I think that could have a big impact.

(11,990 posts)He can keep going back to his $27 donors, and they are not likely to be dissuaded by lackluster results this week. So I think he will be able to fundraise through setbacks better than a "traditional" candidate would.

As Christie Todd Whitman said, "I didn't leave my party; my party left me!"
Many of them have come here, as part of the RW tactic to sway the Democratic Party to the Center-Right!
We're seeing MSNBC ever so slowly change, and they are dragging many of Democrats with them, by slowly enacting a political conversion of thought, as they are unaware that their shows are slowly skewing to the right. One day, many Dems will wake up and realize that, just like Marx wrote, as the bourgeoisie consolidate to ever smaller ranks, those who were once bourgeoisie now become the proletariat!
