Related: About this forumI'll vote for Hillary if she's the nominee
I've never abstained from voting in an election, and this won't be the first time.
However, as it stands now that will be the extent of my support for her. She will have to win Virginia without my contributions of money or time spent in GOTV efforts. The establishment is hoping they can tap into the enthusiasm and motivation of Bernie's supporters, but they think they can do this while continuing to do the bidding of the 1%. The head to head polling numbers between Hillary and the various Republicans suggest they better figure out a way to do it. Good luck.

(3,569 posts)I have no truck whatsoever with voting for Hillary, if she is the nominee. I think we can do better, but probably won't. Shame, but at least we are now having the conversation. One that will allow Elizabeth Warren, in 8 years, to move progressive ideas even farther along.

I conjecture that shawn703 will believe that should Hillary need money, she can go out and give a speech for her dear buddies at Goldman-Sachs.
What is particularly striking is that many, MANY other Democrats will feel the same way.
