Newsflash: Southern and Western states are more populous and representative of the Democratic Party!

I see how some people are belittling the Southern primaries, but they fail to realize and/or accept two truisms:

First, Southern and Western states are more populous and diverse, a true reflection of the Democratic Party electorate.

and

Second, NO Democratic Party candidate--I don't care if it's Jesus H. Christ himself--can win ANY nomination without the support of a sizable portion of minority voters or women.

As a child of the American South, I resent the bigotry. I resent the arrogance.

I ask that we respect all Democratic voters, whether a supporter of Bernie or Hillary supporter

...or neither.

South Carolina Democratic voters are political losers. They probably sabotage their best politicians for not being neoliberal enough.

They have elected exactly zero statewide Democrats. They have 6 Republicans in the U.S. House and Clyburn is the *only* Democratic Representative.

Their state legislature is either Super Majority or near-Super Majority Republican.

And neither have Democratic voters in West Virginia, Oklahoma and other Midwestern states that Bernie Sanders is projected to win. That doesn't mean that I'm writing off those Democratic voters in those states.

That doesn't mean that the Democratic voters in those states should be written off like what people are saying about the Democrats in other Red states in the American South and Midwest.

It's really of no consequence when we get to the GE.

It's going to be interesting to watch.
