She keeps saying Unlike last week's debate.....Unlike last week's debate....blah blah. Talk about the debate that happened tonight. Ugh..

(28,808 posts)unequivocal, repeated claims last week that "romney won."
not in my book rachel, because you can't win on lies. lies disqualify you from winning a debate.
it is annoying as hell.

(8,911 posts)and it isn't like we have to FIGHT for the progressive change. There are a few wealthy families that do not want it and will pay handsomely to slow it.

(297,421 posts)bringing it up...rub it in some more. Yeah, because some of the "media" are saying this was a "draw" tonight so lets keep talking about how disappointing it was last week. Can't just enjoy BIDEN'S WIN!

(31,235 posts)of the time. But after the debate, I'm only watching Martin & Rev Al. The histrionics displayed by these overpaid egotistical prima donnas' was just more than I could stand. My friends and co-workers have commented on the same thing. I wonder if their ratings have shown a dip since the last debate?

(3,491 posts)Put your pom poms down and recognize the enormity of Obama's "Great Debate Disaster." Biden was tough but probably more testy than he should've been and he smiled/interrupted too much. Hoping the meme that Biden won will hold and won't go South the way Gore did after he was bashed for sighing and eye rolling.

(3,491 posts)all this Rachel bashing, the way she was cheerleading Biden as soon as he debate ended.
Were you listening to the lady? And yes I can find more dedicated, educated and honest progressives. Although I obviously do not "know" Rachel like you.

(236 posts)Good luck with that! Start at CNN and then try FOX! I'm sure you'll find someone who'll tell you what you want to hear!

(4,551 posts)No one can be perfect all the time, but she is one of the few anchors that exposes the lies about Romney & the Republicans. If she had been in charge of Obama's Debate Prep last week, he would have won.
And she is one of the only people in the media who has drawn attention to GOP voter suppression.

(1,435 posts)she knows what happened last week, not in denial about that, like some trolls here. Attacking her will not change the facts, come next Tuesday Oct/16/12 I hope she will compare Obama to the Obama of Oct/3/12 and declare him the winner proudly.

(19,458 posts)Used to find her interesting, but when she was dong the first debate post mortem, she spend WAAAAY too much time on clips of other debates, and her tally thing, and it was just so fucking boring. She's lost me. I like Ed. I don't always agree with him, but he's more interesting.

She still does stellar segments but not as often

(1,945 posts)Sometimes I have to saver what I think without anyone shaping it for me.
Last week I was pinballing between DU and HuffPo (I can't force myself over to Free Republic places).
Tonight, I was somersaulting among Joy Reid Goldy Taylor and Charles Blow tweets. I picked up a little Current (David Schuster) and MSNBC (Richard Wolfe) digs along the way.
It was a better night overall for me.
Last week after I watched Ed and Tweetie blow their stacks on Obama's performance, I just couldn't stand no mas from them. I think substance over style matters more than the rampaging thing Romney was doing then.
Joe had a similar style tonight but was right on the facts. I don't think he ran over Raddahtz. He did slap Ryan about the head throughout the debate.
I felt sorry for Ryan's youthful inexperience. He should thank his lucky stars he only has to go through that once this cycle UNLESS he is debating his opponent in his Congressional district.
