A Rebuttal To Hilary's Identity Politics

During Hilary's victory speech she stated that she was against free college because she did not want to pay for Donald Trump's children to attend college free. This is the same divisive rhetoric that has been used over and over in this country. From Cadillac Welfare Queens to Lobster Feasts on food stamps to no instate tuition for immigrant children these arguments are designed to turn us against each other. Just because the worm has turned and the target this time is not AAs or Latinos or poor people this should make people furious over the obvious intent to divide and pit us against one another. This is I don't want my benefactors to myself to pay more in taxes that helping our youth would require so let me find a scapegoat and blame it on them. This contrasts so sharply with her message of love and inclusion that she finished the speech with that it should make us condemn this divisive tactic.

I would be grateful if Donald's children decided to leave their cloistered rich private schools surrounded by the 0.1% and attended free college with the rest of us. They might make friends outside of their closed little universe. They might meet some Mexican American children or some Muslim children and they might find them to be kind generous wonderful people. With improved socialization they might have said Daddy how can you say such horrible things about Mexicans or Muslims. Daddy you are insulting and degrading my friends.

Wouldn't that be a more wonderful world. Stop with the identity politics scapegoating your policy decisions on the current out of favor target.
