2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumThank you, Joe, for reminding IT'S THE SUPREME COURT
I was just recently complaining that this marks the fourth election, going back to 2000, where I just don't think the Democrats have done a good enough job pointing out that the Supreme Court is on the edge of going to what, a 6-3 conservative majority? Is that what people want? I don't think they do. Most people want balance. Zealots don't. I'm glad Biden pointed out the Supreme Court is teetering on the edge.
I wish this were front and center, because all those women who supposedly shifted to Mitt? Are dumber than a bag of Paul Ryan's hair if they vote for the ticket that's going to screw them for generations with a Supreme Court change under a Romney/Ryan administration. When "Handmaid's Tale" comes true, they'd have only themselves to blame. Well, and the failure of we Democrats to make sure the country knows what awaits.
It's the Supreme Court. That needs to be front and center. Thanks, Joe Biden, for getting that out there.

(1,828 posts)As soon as the question came up, I started yelling about the Supreme Court. I almost fell over when Joe said it. It made me ecstatic to hear it said! I don't understand why Dems are so timid about putting that argument out there.

Women voters are what will determine this election, and Obama has to get the ones he lost to Romney last week back.
The Supreme Court and the idea of Romney Justices and Robert Bork as Adviser needs to be a main point to women voters over the next month:
