He said what he said earlier. He met Hillary, and he met Bill, but he didn't meet Bernie but was now aware of his involvement in Chicago.

"older black women who think it's her time..." - that sounded about right...

and when asked about Trump, instead of asking why Trump got such huge turnouts in those states so far, went to the KKK angle...

that KKK angle, which is Trump at his most disengaged lending itself to despicable, will probably evaporate once the M$M gets all the mileage out of it...they are already talking about how long they can keep it going while acting like it is a 'hot item'...

fuck Trump, fuck the KKK, fuck M$NBC, and fuck all those 'old Confederate states' who aren't going to deliver any electoral votes to the Democrats...I will apologize in advance to any of them that do...should be a short apology

they were pushing the 'fake photo' meme. Eugene Robinson even saying something about there were other real photos he didn't need to use a fake one!????

Jesus H. Christ!! I assume Robinson is not just lying, so I have to assume these so-called political experts just don't give a shit about doing their jobs anymore. I have a full time job nothing to do with politics; I am also very busy trying to rescue a relative hiding out from a military dictatorship in a 3rd world country, so I have little time to spend following political issues yet I still know enough that the photo was NOT a fake, but it seems that these 'experts', who should have no other focus than examining all the issues, and gather all the facts, are just plain lazy and stupid ... probably because they understand that the only thing of any importance these days is covering the 'horse race' aspect.

All Main Street Media is worthless. They are probably bigger enemies of the people than the corrupted politicians, since if the MSM actually did their fucking job the corrupt politicians wouldn't get away with their bull shit.

Bernie has fought for Civil Rights for minorities his entire life.

She insults AAs, calls them "super predators," tells them she'll "just talk to white people," has them physically removed from her high-class fundraising functions.

She used racist attacks against Barack Obama in 2008 ("hardworking white people", suggested he might be a Muslim, showed photos in Obama in African dress).

She enthusiastically promoted Welfare Reform and the 1994 Crime Bill, both aimed at People of Color, both harming them.

Hillary cannot hold a candle to Bernie on this issue.

Rachel is either sold-out or grossly uninformed.

"You gotta go along to get along."

CHOCOLATES AND NYLONS, SIR?

By David Podvin, Jan. 9, 2002

In 1992, shortly after being named moderator of Meet The Press, Tim Russert was having lunch with a broadcast executive. The mealtime conversation was about the pros and cons of working for General Electric’s NBC subsidiary. Russert expounded on how being employed by GE had brought him to the realization that things functioned better when Republicans were in charge.

“You know, Tim, you used to be such a rabid Democrat when you worked for Pat Moynihan,” said the executive. “But now that you’ve gotten a glimpse of who’s handing out the money in this business, you’ve become quite the Jaycee. Were you wrong about everything you used to believe so strongly?”

“I still believe,” Russert said, leaning across the table. “I believe in everything I ever did. But I also know that I never would have become moderator on Meet The Press if my employers were uncomfortable with me. And, given the amount of money at stake, millions of dollars, I don’t blame them. This is business.”

The executive agreed. “But are you concerned about losing yourself? You know, selling out?”

Russert pounded the table. “Integrity is for paupers!”

When Tim Russert joined NBC News in 1984, he began a personal transformation from Democratic congressional aide to broadcaster-in-charge of General Electric’s political interests. His early efforts for the network drew some criticism from the GE corporate suites as being “too knee jerk”, a euphemism for “insufficiently pro-GE/ Republican”. The executives at General Electric viewed with hostility the Democratic Party that wanted to burden them with obeying laws that the company preferred to break and complying with regulations that it preferred to ignore. While Republicans turned a blind eye to the serial environmental crimes and bribery committed by GE, the Democrats were less submissive. The company was especially upset that the Democratic Party had taken a position against transferring public ownership of the broadcast airwaves to the media conglomerates.

And it's really funny to me. Those who say 'NO!' were already going to vote for him any way. Winning elections or even gaining traction in an economic or social movement is about expanding your base. I don't know if Sanders is at fault for this. But far too many of his most zealous supporters have barely listened to what black people have to say. They're too busy yelling over each other. If they're not interested in attracting black voters I suppose that's fine. But they seem genuinely interested in getting their votes. They've by and large flunked because they not only haven't helped attract those votes, they've actually turned people off to voting for their candidate. Though I don't think they've turned people off to the importance of significant reform that is necessary to move us forward together as a people.

They seem more upset about engaging with and arguing with other white people to score some sort of rhetorical win than in actually reading black media and hearing what people are saying. And they've run off many black people who know about mainstream liberal black media by denigrating and belittling them, alert-stalking them, hiding their posts and getting them banned. It's been an abysmal display for the past year and it continues on today with very little done about it.

My opinion only.
