(8,733 posts)all the victory lapping and poking and calling the election over and her husband giving campaign speeches right outside a polling station. I've had my fill tonight.
Over 80% of the country has yet to vote, including me. I think the entire West coast and NY, IL, MI and OH to name a few should get a say before anyone declares victory.

Conspiracies are a very easy non-rational explanation to accept, but it really isn't rational.

(9,527 posts)You can't even remotely say that just because one race can safely be called at X%, that another unrelated race can be called at X+Y%. It's a different universe of voters and given that Democrats are more likely to be in more consolidated precincts, it may take longer to get a good grasp on who is winning.

(8,733 posts)He was already winning in excess of the exit polling, that margin was stable and with 40% of the vote counted. The chances of him not being the actual winner were unlikely.
