Soon, #feelthebern ire will turn away from blaming Elizabeth Warren (ridiculous) to the campaign team that has under-performed its candidate

Someday I'll hold out an olive branch to the Bernie fandom but not today while they hurl vitriol, even misogyny, at Elizabeth Warren.

(30,439 posts)Bernie needs to reign them in.
Elizabeth is now feeling the wrath...just like Planned Parenthood, Cecile Richards, Gabby Giffords, John Lewis, Jim Clyburn, Dolores Huerta...the list does on and on and on.
If this is what Bernie's political revolution is about, I want no part of it.

(37,428 posts)A two-pronged, coordinated attack on threads open to comments by dozens of operatives? To what depths will The Left not sink in their relentless pursuit of economic equality, peace and justice?
For the record, I too would vote for Elizabeth Warren in a heartbeat, and if Clinton picks her as a ringing mate, I'll happily vote for them.

Four posts, with 5 'likes', and "OMG!!! This is serious!"
Taking millions of dollars in donations and 'fees' from big financial companies? "Nothing to see here"!

(14,177 posts)I don't share that anger. In fact I don't want her to make an endorsement. She is in a position where an endorsement for either side can make it harder for her to do what she does best and that is to work on legislation to regulate Wall Street. That as far as I am concerned is more important than an endorsement. But, if other people are mad cuz they think she could have tipped the scales for Bernie which I believe she could have then that is their right to be angry.

(45,120 posts)propaganda machine to spread his sleaze. What this creep did to Anita Hill is unforgivable. And that a democrat is using him to do this to a good man, and a good woman like Liz is beneath contempt.

History[edit]
Blue Nation Review was formerly owned by Moko Social Media Limited, a multi-media platform developer. Blue Nation Review was sold to Media Matters for America founder David Brock on November 25, 2015.[1][2] After Blue Nation Review's sale, almost all of its staff were terminated.[3]
Present ownership structure[edit]
Brock formed an investment vehicle, True Blue Media, to own his ownership stake in Blue Nation Review. True Blue Media owns 80% of Blue Nation Review, and Moko Social Media retained a 20% ownership stake.[3]
Approach to journalism[edit]
Blue Nation Review is known for publishing reports that shed light on the spending habits of former U.S. Representative Aaron Schock (R-Ill.), playing a role in the former Congressmans eventual resignation. Blue Nation Review's previous owner, Moko Social Media, had spent several hundred thousands of dollars to generate web traffic. After Brock's purchase of Blue Nation Review, he described the website as alternative and independent, saying that Blue Nation Review would produce daily content, including investigative reports and video.[3]
Association with Hillary Clinton[edit]
Brock is associated with several Super PACs that support the 2016 presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton. Peter Daou, the new CEO of True Blue Media, had previously served as a digital media strategist for Clinton's 2008 campaign.[3] Since the sale of the publication to Brock, it endorsed Clinton for President.[4] Blue Nation Review has also published numerous negative articles about Bernie Sanders and his supporters.[citation needed]

Book Author Says He Lied in His Attacks on Anita Hill in Bid to Aid Justice Thomas
By ALEX KUCZYNSKI and WILLIAM GLABERSON
Published: June 27, 2001
The author of a best-selling book that attacked the credibility of Anita F. Hill has disavowed its premise, and now says that he lied in print to protect the reputation of Justice Clarence Thomas.
David Brock, the author of the book, ''The Real Anita Hill'' (Free Press, 1993), has also suggested, in a magazine article to be published this week, that Justice Thomas used an intermediary to provide Mr. Brock with damaging information about a woman who had come forward to provide support for Ms. Hill's accusations of harassment by Justice Thomas. Ms. Hill's accusations became the focus of Senate hearings into Justice Thomas's nomination to the Supreme Court in 1991.
Mr. Brock reported that he then used the information to force the woman to retract her statements about Justice Thomas. The article, in the August issue of Talk magazine, is excerpted from Mr. Brock's new book, ''Blinded by the Right: The Conscience of an Ex Conservative'' (Crown Publishers), which is scheduled to be published in September.
