"Obama needs to put his man pants on."

This is a quote from an African-American male being interviewed in at a NC BBQ joint for a news piece on MSNBC's Alex Witt program.

It made me laugh, but it's excellent advice for the president going in to Tuesday's debate.

Obama can put this election in the bag by standing his ground, touting his accomplishments and rebutting rMoney's lies & congressional Rethug stonewalling.

That brother needs to put on his thinking cap. What, does he think the president wears short pant. Aka a boy. That interviewer, Kerry whatever his name tends to look for the controversy. Alex did say she expected that he would look for that kind of remark. What an idiot.

8. Balderdash. So you want Obama to debate the same way next time?

The whole point of the piece was the regional differences in NC, between BBQ and politics, but not necessarily according to stereotypes.

The "Man Pants" comment was at the end of the video piece at this link:

Here, the phrase is "Big Boy Pants."

However you want to phrase it, the consensus in all quarters is the President had better fight back next time, or we'll be looking at a new president in 2013.

Obama needs to come out fighting.

I'm sure using the word "man" is offensive to some, but offensive things can be funny too.

And by the way, if we as Obama supporters can't get over being so damned precious and defensive, and hyperventillating at an offer of even HUMOROUS constructive criticism, then we can just sit quietly with our old polite PC selves and let Romney-Ryan walk all over us and take the presidency.

Playing in to the notion a person can spew LIES with confidence and a command of the situation ( Image Wise ) and be the winner or man is the superficial reasoning that gave us Shrub.

The "man pants" quote is at the end.

And by the way, even news anchor Craig Melvin treated the quote humorously after the news piece.

And nobody else's opinion matters but Beaverhausen's, not even those of people who host TV news shows?

Next time, I'll allow you to censor me before I post anything I think is funny. We all must be sure to fulfill the ugly stereotype of all liberals being prickly, humorless, and hyper-PC .

This is the level that political debate is conducted at in this country, is it any wonder the place is a mess?
