Tan are Hillary wins, Green are Bernie wins. But Iowa and Mass ought to colored differently, as they were virtual ties.
UPDATE: The map just got greener! Congrats Bernie on winning Nebraska, Kansas, and now Maine!!!
And the latest UPDATE: MICHIGAN!!!

(3,733 posts)but she wouldn't have won those if bernie had gotten more votes hahahahaha
she also wouldn't be leading in the delegate count except for math hahaha
i like bernie. i like hillary. i'm happy to vote for either
but the tortured logic is too whacked not to point out lol

(10,345 posts)What has been said is that it's obvious that Hillary, a centrist conservative, would win conservative Red States. Also, in the general, those states wouldn't benefit her.

(2,074 posts)The southern states might be red because of the large numbers of Republicans there, but these are Democratic primaries. What it tells me is that the Democrats in the red states are well aware of how dangerous the GOP is, and don't have time to fiddle with the election, unlike many Bernie supporters who make nonsensical claims about how Hillary is the same as Trump. Red state Dems know better.
And the fact is that the Dems in those states are overwhelmingly black, an important voting block in the Democratic Party. And Hillary wins them. Bernie wins in less demographically diverse areas. That is not a winning coalition for a Democrat. Most whites vote GOP, so no Dem can win without a more diverse coalition.

(30,250 posts)So far, Sanders has won in mostly white states. Hillary has won in states where the majority of Democrats have been AA and Hispanic.

(14,733 posts)Bernie has now won 9 states and Hillary 10 that are not essentially 'ties'?
The only state on that map that surprises me is Massachusetts.

(9,841 posts)I'm also still a little surprised Bernie lost that one, though.

(103,856 posts)which is kind of sad, since the Clintons talk a good line, but deliver little
I understand loyalty, but if Hillary can only win with black voters, she is NOT a national candidate (in my opinion)
Iowa...she barely won (more like a tie, what with the coin flips & all)
Massachusetts was razor-thin close
Nevada was won by Harry Reid putting a thumb on the scale at the last second..
Everything else was from states that Dems never/rarely carry in a general election and solely due to black voters
Her huge numbers in delegates are mostly due to the sooooopers..
I have nothing personal against her, but I am sick to death of the screaming into the microphone and her stilted awkward style..
trump will beat her..count on it..
