Write your own zingers!

We have a lot of great wordsmiths here at DU, and I'm sure many of you have ideas for barbs that Obama can use in his upcoming debates. For instance:

For the opening statement:
"My opponent is a fantastic salesman for some really terrible policies."

When Mitt changes position, remind us that he does it a lot:
"Well, that's ... new."

When Mitt says he doesn't have a $5 trillion tax cut plan, say:
"Yes, you do. You just don't know how much it costs or how to pay for it."

After Mitt gives a long passionate speech, remind viewers of the wording in Romney's response to the 47% video:
"You can hear the conviction in his voice. I think he sincerely believes all this nonsense, but he's absolutely wrong."

For the closing statement:
"My opponent is a man in search of his identity. He will say one thing on the campaign trail, another thing here tonight, something else on his website... But the most telling thing is what he says behind closed doors, when he thinks no one is watching except his wealthy donors. He believes nearly half the people in this country are just freeloaders and deadbeats. That was no slip of the tongue. Those are his true beliefs, and an indication of his character."

The president should ask him "Governor Romney, why should the American people believe you when a good portion of your annual income comes from investments in Chinese companies and you won't even meet with the workers from Sensata who are losing their jobs and have been forced to train their Chinese replacements?"

you just mentioned in that anecdote. The policies you've been promising to put into action would only make their hardship much worse. Are there any policies you espouse that would do anything to directly help them? Other than tax cuts that benefit you personally.

"Mitt says where you put your money shows where your heart is. And he's right - Mitt's heart is in the Cayman Islands, Switzerland, and China."

"Mitt, your campaign slogan is "Believe in America." But how do you expect to make everyone believe in America when you have routinely bet against America with your own money?"

"Your running mate has said your ticket is not running to redistribute wealth. Why is it then, that your policies would take away from the middle class and give to the wealthy?"

"Mitt, we are both millionaires. Your tax plan would be great for both of us, but I believe in a new economic patriotism. I don't mind paying a little more so the middle class can have a fair shot."

"Governor Romney, I would like to ask you a question: are YOU better off than you were four years ago?"

"Governor Romney, you have described my policies as "punishing success." But success is not defined by how much money you have, success is shown by the content of your character and how you live your life."

"Governor Romney, I only talk about Big Bird on the campaign trail because YOU brought him up during our last debate. Of course, that could have been a different Governor Romney who said that for all we know."

"Congressman Ryan was correct when he said Mitt Romney is a car guy - his holdings in Mitsubishi and Volkswagen make that clear. But a President Romney would have let our American brands go bankrupt! He supports German and Japanese cars, but not American cars?"

"The NRA runs advertisements for Mitt Romney. Is this the same Mitt Romney who signed anti-gun legislation in Massachusetts?"

"Mitt Romney says he would be a "pro-life president." But he wasn't a "pro-life businessman" - he owned a firm in Stericycle that profited from abortions."

"Governor Romney says he's willing to reach across the aisle. He says he worked with the Democratic legislature. I'll bet you 800 vetoes the Massachusetts legislature would beg to differ."
