The MittTwit RobMe bounce is fading. National polls now showing Obama a bit ahead.

This was always going to be a close race and will be to the very end. The next two debates will be very important. I think Obama will do very well Tuesday. He knows that he messed it up in the first one and knows how he did that. He says, "I get it, and I've got this."

Check out his Town Hall with McCain on CSPAN. Just Google CSPAN online, go to the Campaign 2012 page, and path to the past debates. I watched much of it today. He did very well.

He is fundamentally, a very flawed candidate. People do not like him and since you never see him with a dog or a smiling baby, I assume they do not either.

All people need is a reason to NOT vote for him. Obama has to give a good (but I do not think out of this world) performance at the town hall. I would rough Mitt up a little, rattle his cage just a bit, and Obama wins.

No one really wants to vote for Mitt.
