Throughout the segment was the argument, implicit or explicit, that the West isn't doing enough. If the Obama administration helps to overthrow a despot, read Libya and Egypt, and it doesn't go well, the Republicans make political hay out of it.

I thought the reporter was courageous to go into those beseiged areas. She seemed to be showing it as factually as she could. I don't think a lot of people understand what is happening in Syria and "60 Minutes" provided a format that could make the masses more aware. I learned a few things watching it.

On edit: The pleas for help were coming from the Syrians. Does anyone think CBS should have edited out those parts?
