(38,532 posts)That's balanced reporting. It's low, even for a pundit.

(17,320 posts)the auto bailout. I don't call a bald face lie a "skillful attack". But, if it held up long enough to tilt the results she won't care what it was called.

(2,125 posts)it does seem to be somewhat successful, but skillful? Social and alternative media shows her for the dishonest shill she is.

(9,314 posts)Obviously Bernie Sanders was not expecting this because it simply was untrue.
I am not sure what "The nuance of the auto bail out vote is not being reported in Detroit" means. I did read here the Clinton campaign was running a radio ad, and now it appears the Sanders campaign is running a radio ad correcting the record.
Perhaps she means no one in traditional reporting chairs are talking about it???
Sam
Yes. It was untrue.
In the eyes of people who see politics as a sport or some kind of battle, it was considered skillful.
I guess she meant that the local traditional press is reporting the smear and not the correction.
And yes, the Sanders campaign is running a radio ad. But Hillary is also running a radio ad with just the slur, not the correction.
Oh, btw, I also saw Heileman and Halperin on MSNBC today talk about the smear in non-flattering but resigned words.

(14,459 posts)Even from a tactical perspective, it was clumsy though- every time she tries to attack Bernie where he's strong, she draws attention to how much she doesn't care about the people she uses to attack him.
I wonder at what point everyone will realize that this is just about Her and her family, not America.

(32,731 posts)would it be fair or honest of me to tell everyone that I let that person borrow my car? The bailout needed money. If everyone voted like Bernie did, the big 3 and thousands of workers would have been SOL.

(86,005 posts)...what fricking good did that Senate vote do?
The actual money that went to the automakers was in the bill he voted against.
