I, however, see them as inextricably interconnected. It's not as if there isn't room for both as major priorities.

(10,622 posts)fuels and other contributors of our impending human caused mass extinction event , Those Kings would also keep all the money in their accounts, unused for things like investing in not only stopping, but somehow reversing the effects that negatively affect our biosphere, as well as away from the serfs (which they would prefer as poor as possible).
These modern day kings also profit a great deal from polluting in so many ways such would be difficult top list in full let alone discontinue doing.
They are so entwined they are inseparable, that is to say, the OP and yourself are equally correct as one brings with it the other.
If you care to read it, I made an interesting post that explains my premise in detail which went largely (almost completely in fact) ignored on three separate discussion boards.

A large part of my reason for voting Sanders is because HE GETS IT and believes we should do something about it!

(19,841 posts)We need strong leadership on this uncertain matter of surviving well--on this earth. We needed it yesterday. Future generations will hate us for their suffering if we know better (which we now do, re climate change) and choose to do nothing. It is the number one issue of these times.
