Sanders Statement on Michigan Primary Victory

https://berniesanders.com/press-release/sanders-statement-on-michigan-primary-victory/

"U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders issued the following statement tonight after The Associated Press projected that he won Tuesday’s primary election in Michigan:

“I am grateful to the people of Michigan for defying the pundits and pollsters and giving us their support. This is a critically important night. We came from 30 points down in Michigan and we’re seeing the same kind of come-from-behind momentum all across America.

“Not only is Michigan the gateway to the rest of the industrial Midwest, the results there show that we are a national campaign. We already have won in the Midwest, New England and the Great Plains and as more people get to know more about who we are and what our views are we’re going to do very well.”

I think Bernie is right. He didn't do well in Southern States, but does that really matter? napi21 Mar 2016 #1
True but it is sad. Those states need him the most. nt Live and Learn Mar 2016 #2

How many times has a Democrat won the South in a Presidential election? Other than Fla, which sometimes isn't even considered part of the Southern States, they just don't! IMO, the more important wins for Dems are the NE, the west coast and some of the middle states. Yes, it's still going to be a tough fight butif Bernie can keep winning states like Ill. Pa. NY. NJ. Ca, Or. Wa. he stands a good chance at winning the nomination.

There may be better links around, but this is all I could find. He starts talking about 6 minutes into video.

Very impromptu, with a good bit of background noise, but good to see.
