Airbus gets BILLIONS of dollars in subsidies...

From many European nations, if we don't provide something similar to an American company like Boeing how do they remain competitive in the marketplace?

Yes this issue is MUCH more complicated than that, but I do think that there are some benefits to the Ex/Im bank, and those should not be overlooked.

Those jobs wouldn't be there without the help of the US Govt and programs.

In their 4th quarter fillings they stated:
"Fourth-quarter revenue fell about 4 percent to $23.57 billion. Analysts expected $23.53 billion, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S."

See that: $23.57 billion in a single quarter. Screw them. Pulling down they kind of coin I am sure then can figure it out.

8. What is the unit cost for 777? A 787? A military airplane?

The maintenance they must do? The development they must do? And remember revenue figure is just top line sales, or at least that's how you've framed it.

I could check the 10k to get more information.

Not going to concede any points to giving billions of dollars in corporate giveaways to anyone.

Yes, its hight, but they have to pay for thousands of employees and building 50 or so commercial planes is not cheap. I dont give a crap about revenue.

What's really revealing is that Airbus statements seem to show a loss, yet they are propped up by the Euro governments... And Sanders wants to end that here in the states, and that could cause companies like Boeing to go under or have to significantly reduce their size.

I can't support that.

It has a government charter but it's not like it's taxpayer money; it's an actual bank.

Sure we spend the most on it and we probably should not spend as much as we do but how does that relate to what Airbus gets vs. what Boeing gets in subsidies.

like our citizens and, yes, even corporate welfare not related to war.

But Boeing IS war.
