I worked in an academic environment for 10 years in a publish or perish environment. One of the things that one of my colleagues told me when I first started - he was 20 years into his academic career - was that when writing a paper - dazzle them with BS. The more words in the paper - the more impressive it looks and is received.

Now I wasn't successful in the academic environment as I couldn't play the game the way some of these masters of BS did.

I think it's more important to get to the point than to talk around the points. Just my opinion.

I just told my husband that she reminds me of a toddler, 30min past nap time, but still finishing their lunch. That moment right when the meltdown occurs, and peas and potatoes start flying. It never ends the way they hope.

that most people are so deeply entrenched that they can't be objective about how either candidate is doing.

And the details are so rich. Like on Sunday when she said she was against fracking - but only if it's already poisoned your water supply.
