He can use the funds in any future campaign, or donate them to other candidates.

For example, Obama donated a good chunk of his leftover 2008 funds to another campaign....Clinton 2008.

...on whether he is running his campaign like Clinton did in 2008. She had a bunch of debt that Obama's voters had to pay off for her. If Sanders is racking up a bunch of debt, then there won't be any money to donate to the DNC.

There's a Fetterman page too I would hope. And probably a lot more candidates we don't even know about yet. We need one place where we can save them.

I will be doing one more DU Act Blue link for Brenda Golden for Oklahoma House District #16. After that I won't be doing any new ones. I will teach the next generation how to do it.
