(146,317 posts)a state's state convention is held, really. Current numbers, though, will be very close to the actual numbers.
Due to rounding issues and confirmed vote counts, it can take a while for the numbers to settle down.

(9,959 posts)...he will never catch Hillary. What Bernie needs is real huge margins - like Vermont or Hillary's wins in the south. Or, "winner take all" state that are high in delegates. If there are those, Bernie can become more competitive.

(146,317 posts)the Democratic primaries. The Republicans have some of those, but Democrats stopped doing that some time ago, to better reflect the voters' wishes.

(146,317 posts)We still have superdelegates, but they're really not needed in a two-person race. We'll know the will of the electorate clearly.

(34,661 posts)we have to put Civics's back in the School Systems. And yes,our Caucus System is a tad messy. But,what the heck,it is fun and interesting.

(146,317 posts)all works. The information is out there, but we don't seem to be interested in learning about it. Even among politically active people, the amount of misinformation that is believed is shocking.
We have this system in place to elect our leaders. Why would we not really care how it all works? I don't get it.

(34,661 posts)being afforded Public Education Systems in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Sad to say,today's Wisconsin Educational System is suspect to say the least. And Economics and Civics as well as World History and Geography were part and parcel of our basic Educational Models.

Ditto on the years of Education,finally finish my B.A. at 68,kept changing Majors. But,hey it was a hoot.
