With all the Independents flocking to the primaries to vote for Sanders

Wouldn't it make sense for the Democratic Party to put forth more Sanders-like candidates and support more Sanders-like planks in their platform? Currently 29% of people identify as Democrats to 26% of people identifying as Republicans. It seems the goal of the party would be to increase that 29% by bringing more independents into the fold.

They'd rather hang onto their current system and money than win more seats in Congress and the Presidency. Either the DNC establishment will have to be replaced or a 3rd party will have to be formed.

The GOP is the major league legislative apparatus for corporate America and all multinationals
Not just some. They hit the home runs , not just singles and doubles

The parties are vestigial and 21st century people know they are unnecessary and will excise them from the body politic. It will be done with two cycles. Watch

They're worried about people coming in and voting against republican-lite candidates, though. Even if they don't win elections, they want to keep control of the party and candidates so they can keep the corporate checks rolling into their pockets.

...and that AGENDA is NOT about making your life or my life better or the Country better or the planet better. It's all about the Party *elite* holding on to the power they have, and gaining as much more power as possible...damn. the. consequences.

Because even though we are the Democratic Party, our own Party High Command has completely overlooked the concepts of DEMOCRACY and FAIRNESS and TRUTH and JUSTICE.

As an independent I can't actually vote in my primary but know this: Either Democratic candidate will get my vote over the Rebublican nominee this year. Bernie is a straight shooter and Hillary is highly qualified by her experience. Be thankful you're not having a meltdown like the GOP.

How so? Yes she is too militant. We should have left Lybia alone. Other than that though she appears to favor mostly good policies, especially when compared to Trump and Cruz.

I think Clinton can stand on her own merits but even accepting a "Bernie light" characterization, that is still heaps better than Trump/Cruz.
