Howard Fineman - "You saw Mitt Romney for who he really was - a cold blooded guy

After Candy Crowley let Romney know that the President did call the Benghazi attack an "Act of Terror"

Howard Fineman: "You saw Mitt Romney for who he really was there - a cold blooded guy who thought he was moving in for the "political kill" shot and he was wrong. You could see it in his eyes."

1) "That guy"
2) When Kerry hit Bush about owning a logging company and Bush came back with "I don't know what you're talking about - wanna buy some wood?"

The confusion, anger, frustration that his big line just got completely destroyed.

There is absolutely nothing that Romney believes is off limit if he thinks it can score him political points. The man has NO moral compass, whatsoever, and cannot be let anywhere near 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

She actually corrected Romney on his accusation that Obama didn't call Benghazi a terrorist attack at first. It was a great moment when Romney argued that he didn't and Obama said, "get the transcript!"

Here is what Obama said from the transcript of his Rose Garden speech:

Mr. Obama did make reference to the fact that “No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation.

...The United States condemns in the strongest terms this outrageous and shocking attack.

this election. That is just devastating. Romney and the Republicans were on thin ice already with their over the top criticism of this. To get it wrong just makes it even worse.

In the post-debate PBS comments, someone said, "Neither of these guys came off as warm and fuzzy." Well, I though the first part of the debate the President was civil, composed and at least procedurally respectful of the format and the audience. Mitt was out there like it was HIS show, and just looked like that bully you know who doesn't give any respect to other people. You could see him disregarding the clock, pushing his way back to attack the President with "rebuttal" and on the couple of times Candy said "you can use your two minutes however you like", he just simply ignored the audience question in front of him, and kept talking about what he wanted to.

I thought from the Benghazi question on, the President started to respond with the body blows, but I was left with no doubt in my mind that I wouldn't trust Mitt Romney to take care of my dog, let alone my country, because he is the kind of guy who doesn't care about anything but being "in charge".
