Related: About this forum"Love trumps hate" is a bad slogan, regardless of its origin.
It has various meanings, but one is "To love Trump's hate." Trump's hate is well known. We should not, even by mistaken interpretation, advocate loving that hate.

(3,660 posts)Take Trump personally out of it. The message is overwhelmingly positive right? Love is always better than hate.
Now, you take an overwhelmingly positive message, and you slap your opponents name right in the middle of it. I get that it's supposed to mean that Love will triumph over Trump's Hate - but that requires more thought and even then preaches to the choir.
For those not politically active or astute, I feel it will just increase Trumps own messaging.
