HRC projected winner in NC--African-American voters come thru again.

North Carolina

Race. Clinton won eight in 10 blacks in North Carolina; they accounted for three in 10 Democratic primary voters.

Gender. She led among women, with six in 10 of their votes; they’re the majority of today’s voters in North Carolina. Clinton was boosted in particular by black women, among whom she won nearly eight in 10, while she spilt the voter with Sanders white women.

Non-outsider. More than eight in 10 North Carolina Democratic primary voters said they wanted someone with political experience as opposed to an outsider, and Clinton won six in 10 of them.

Obama. As elsewhere, Clinton won the more than half of voters who wanted to continue Barack Obama’s polices, taking three-quarters of this group.

Bernie's got more years in politics than Hillary. Oh well. Here's hoping my family and friends votes deny her as many delegates as possible.

...I can't believe Democrats on a Democratic board talk the way you are.

The black vote dominated to give Clinton the edge. Your dismissal of my point is one thing, your bashing me for making it is what's characterized the Sanders support here's response to the black vote and anyone who dares highlight it.

I don't have the tolerance for people who can't acknowledge the contribution of black voters in this race, and insist on this absurd defense of claiming that pointing it out is calling someone racist.

I have worked in elections in NC -- dirty tricks everywhere.

Not going to say it shouldn't go to Hillary this time--and obviously the black vote went for her--but you have to factor election manipulation in, in any calculation for North Carolina. Votes are always suppressed, shenanigans always happen. Now that the Kochs own the state, worse than ever. Try living in a place where election theft is a time-honored tradition.

Just sayin.

...voter id and the rest.

This shows a real movement in the black community for Hillary and signals their votes will be a big factor in the general.

that in the general there will be efforts to make sure Trump wins North Carolina.

In other words, don't bother crowing about North Carolina. The Rethugs own it.

"stranglehold" is correct. The new voter suppression laws = the Repiglicans do not want a lot of Dem voting going on.

It happens in the general too. So Hillary voters should pay attention. But it's all about winning at any cost in this brutal country.
