It's getting clearer. Romney sees the US as Bain, the Oval Office as his own potential boardroom,

and his word as the end of discussion.

An arrogant boss, clearly belligerent to opposing viewpoints, dismissing the facts and condescending to the 47% he plans to lay off.

I don't want this man representing me or my country.

Cheney was the acting prez for 8 years since Chimpy was too drunk to function 6 days out of 7.

They would, however, occasionally drag Captain Codpiece out to make a public statement in front of teleprompters.

2. Not quite - the US isn't Bain, his 'investors' are. The US is a company he wants to gut.

All of his policies will strip the federal government of $$ and resources, giving them to private firms and wealthy people. Then the country goes bankrupt and we all lose everything.

president rmoney (:shudder is the man who would make that happen.

a number of presidents have sold of national assets to cronies for a pittance (a pittance for us, that is; but major contributions to the corrupt president).

but rmoney would take it to a whole new level. he would find a way to sell parks and forests and other land and other assets for pennies on the dollar, then take credit for the gdp growth from the private profit that follows from the giveaways.

both bushes did this, and it's in their political philosophy to do so, but rmoney actually made a career out of doing this sort of thing in the private sector. he screwed employees and banks and suppliers in order to maximize profits for himself and his buddies.

why on earth would we think that would make for a remotely decent president?
