Something that just struck me about Romney's comments on women...

During the debate, he prefaced his "ideas" about women in the workplace with the phrase - "If you're going to have women in the workforce...."

What the HELL is that supposed to mean? "IF YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE?"

Like it's a choice or something that needs to be decided?

This guy is *really* *really* bad.

And he ain't too smart neither. He's become the master of alienating practically anyone who doesn't hang out at the country club.

Everything he said about women offended me as a woman. My only surprise was this man is actually worse than I thought.

... so Mitt you said to your Secretary of Labor, a senior state official who is already a state employee and probably has a union contract that states how much overtime can be required of her, and how much extra she gets paid if you make her pull all nighter's that would have been mandatory for the folks at Bain, that she could go home at 5 PM to pick up her kids from school... and you thought you were doing something special for her!

And for the single dad who also has no one at home to pick up his kids after school, let him hire an au pair or something like that because of course he doesn't really want to spend time with his kids, right, and obviously the money is he'll make is a fair trade FOR HIS PRIME OF LIFE.

Seriously, let's have someone women from Bain Capital step up and explain, objectively, what the working conditions were like. Then you'll understand what this guy's idea of a "productive worker" is. And why he thinks it's a good thing that people are out there working two or three jobs now and doesn't justify any government intervention.

the wives of their social circle perhaps had some hobby-jobs, no surprise he knew NO qualified women to hire for his cabinet. The only women he knows are trophy wives, and trust fund ladies.
He lives in a bubble.
