Related: About this forumThe latest GOP conspiracy theory of my co-worker
A 46 y.o. male mgr. at work says Hillary is going to pick Bill for Veep.
I tried to reason with him, but there's no talking him out of it.
(I am a Bernie supporter, but I just had to say something to him)

(3,033 posts)I can hardly take it anymore. I just can't outright laugh at him, he's one of my bosses. I'll try facts in black and white. I can barely keep a straight face at work anymore, I'm surrounded by GOP'ers.

I think he can be VP. I'm not clear on if he can become president again.

(10,476 posts)"No person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States."
This is by no means settled law, as there has not to date been a court challenge, but many legal scholars interpret this to mean that if a person is not eligible to run for the Presidency, then they are also not eligible to run as a VP.
That clears it up. Seems pretty clear to me.

(16,646 posts)POTUS and the VP can't be from the same state. Cheney got around this, but he wasn't married to George. Don't think Bill and Hillary could as easily pull this off.
