Murphy ahead by 6% against McMahon

"After emphasizing women's issues and increasing his support among females, Democrat Chris Murphy has pulled ahead of Republican Linda McMahon by 6 percentage points in the U.S. Senate race in the latest University of Connecticut/Hartford Courant poll.

Among likely voters, Murphy leads McMahon, 44 percent to 38 percent, with 17 percent of voters still undecided."

High # of undecided but the last 3 polls done on this race show Murphy in the lead. I think this being CT, the vote will go his way in the end.

I think McMahon has turned a lot of people off with her constant negative ads. Lots of people complaining that it is overkill. It is literally 4 ads per tv program at night. I have lived in Connecticut my entire life and have never seen the amount of ads from any candidate like this. It's too much.

It's been a close race for the past month, but Murphy has been ahead in all the recent polls.

I don't think McMahon has led in a poll since the Quinnipiac one in late August.

And Nate Silver currently projects Murphy will win.
