Has our President prepared for the 3rd debate yet?

I hope to God he has, because Willard has taken off time to prepare. We have already seen that debates matter, and as much as we made fun of Willard for being out of circulation to prepare, we all know what happened.

Ok, sky is falling, etc. But one cannot be over confident for these things.

This last debate is critical. Obama needs to hunker down and prepare. All the swing state rallies in the world won't save him if he flops at the last debate.

Since he nailed him with the Benghazi lie, I think we're pretty much out of trouble on that issue. On everything else Romney is just going to follow the PNAC neo-con playbook. No one wants another war and that's what they're proposing. This is the opportunity to go nuts on bin Laden and the decimation of al-Queda.

I'm sure he'll be fine as long as the moderator does his job.

"Why weren't they more secure Mr. President?"

"You take responsibility yet continue to mislead...terrorism...protest...video...blah blah blah."

Romney will make broad/general statements:

"We are less safe these last 4 years...."
"We had a terrorist attack by your own admission...."
"How could you not beef up security on 9/11?"
"Iran will have a nuclear weapon...."

The President will respond - but will he be on the defensive all night? Or can he turn the tables and take it to Mitt?

The president will have to make the case that he is CIC and Romney has ZERO credibility on foreign policy.

"While you were raising money for an election, I gave the order to kill OBL"
"The Republicans in congress - your party sir - cut security funding; I find it hard for you to politicize American deaths"
"Remember the dead Somali pirates? The American people do."

But remember, Romney does not do well speaking on that issue without looking like an uninformed opportunist. The last debate and his response immediately after the attack show this. The whole debate is not going to be about Libya anyway.

Expect the President to go hard on the Bin Laden killing and the fact that Romney opposed going into Pakistan.

If you think that Mitt Romney considers Benghazi "settled law", then be prepared for massive shock on Monday night.

They're going to come after Obama hard on Benghazi. They're going to use the debate to try and take back the Benghazi
issue and put it front and center---with very forceful lies. Obama won this issue handily by leading Romney into a trap
and by delivering a masterful rebuttal to Romney's attempts. Obama really did well.

However, Benghazi will return--and Obama had better anticipate the lie-based tornado that is going to come after him--and
be preparing counter statements that are more powerful than Romney's bullshit.

Romney is out for blood right now. He tanked in the last debate. He's in the position that Obama was in after the first debate.

Romney is going to be a nightmare in the last debate.

Just that issue is muted. He can't take that embarrassing moment back. Everyone saw him punk himself.

I am curious as to whether Robme will continue with the Libya nonsense in light of the fact that he stepped in it so deep the other night.

I actually used the example of his head with friends earlier this week.

I'm tired of this accomplishment being minimized by the GOP.
