Related: About this forumWhy is polling of Oregon so scant?
There hasn't been a poll done there since September. I would like to see where we stand.

(9,623 posts)1. Probably because we are small and do not have much clout....

(2,406 posts)2. Presumably Oregon is safe for Obama. So there's no point to taking a poll. /nt

(6,913 posts)3. We are pretty reliably blue here and Obama should win easily.
We all vote by mail. We will be voting starting in a few days. There doesn't seem to be a lot of corruption in vote counting, either. East of the Cascades votes red and west votes blue. Fortunately, a lot more people live west of the Cascades.

(766 posts)4. Safe Obama, no senate race, someone would have to pay for one
There's a few reasons, I think:
1. It's considered safe Obama
2. There's no senate races. Washington is even safer Obama, but has a senate race so it gets polled more. If you're already doing a poll for senate, you might as well ask about President.
3. Someone (like a news organization) would need to pay for a poll to be done. Given 1 & 2, they no one has much interest in doing so.
