Unlimited money in campaigns, bosses telling their employees how to vote, voter suppression...

all of what we're hearing or reading about the GOP's tactics should scare the living shit out of any thinking American. This is why, without a doubt, THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION IN MODERN HISTORY. With the number of members of the SCOTUS being somewhat..er...moribund...it seems apparent that the ONLY way to stem the tide of self-interest, corruption, intimidation and bought politicians and to OVERTURN CITIZEN'S UNITED is to make sure this entire country goes BLUE.

Additionally, one thing I really miss about the "old days" is when you could sit down with friends or even strangers over a beer and talk politics. There were plenty of opinions sitting around the table but at no point did it ever reach the level of personal rancor the way it does today. When I think of my family and nearly every other family I know being ripped apart over politics it makes me sad and angry at how we're all being manipulated (okay, one side in particular is being manipulated but I will leave it up to you to figure out which side that is).

I know most of this is obvious, but sometimes a woman just gotta get crap off her chest.
