Influence as many people as you can to vote for Obama.

Use the strongest arguments possible: Obama saved the economy, he's better on women's issues, GOP are have radical unworkable plans for the deficit, jobs and Medicare. Doesn't even matter where you live, the buzz will cross state lines when the people you influence, influence others.

The President has done his job in the last debate, so has the VP. Now its time for us to do ours. Coming here to complain/worry about the polls is a waste of time. Perhaps the most important bit of news in the polls is that as many as 15% of the electorate could change their mind according to today's Ipsos poll-- that could be a landslide either way. So, don't waste too much time here and take as much control of the situation as you can.

ps- suggest a vote for their local Democratic congressperson as well.. Argue that Obama will need all the help he can get to advance his agenda and bring more jobs etc

I have people voting who have never voted before, and are excited about it. Lots of young people, too. I was so surprised by some of them, thinking that they'd vote republican, but they're not.

Friends of a friend. I wish I could be idealistic and actually think a "few people" voting their consciences can change this thing, but I was burned voting 3rd party in 2000 and won't fall into that trap again. But they're young, don't remember 2000, and are seemingly unable to listen to reason. I'll keep trying, though!

I've told them IMHO he will last minute throw his support to Romney.
That IMHO he's negotiating a deal for his idiot Teabaggers son. We have a
Bet if he does that, shows his true stripes, they will vote for Obama.
I may be wrong but have nothing to lose.

but at least one is Libertarian. He's hardcore and will definitely be voting third party. He's delusional that a) his candidate could win, and b) once in, can get stuff accomplished by abuse of power via executive order.

Young people tell me they are writing in RP. His videos on
UTube are full of comments from young voters. I'm in a
Blue State so irrelevant here.

that didn't turn out for midterms but will vote in general. For whatever reason
they were not aware of the importance but have every intention of voting
now. I'm asking them to get this across on FB and offer to even pick up and mail
ballots for the super procrastinators.

Also, STAMP your ballot if you are Vote
by Mail. There seems to be some question
and discretion on whether that ballot will
reach SOS office.
